🖼️ Artwork Returns Policy
Made-to-Order & Custom Pieces
- Change of Mind: We do not accept returns for change of mind, as all artworks are made to order or one-of-a-kind cultural pieces
- Custom Work: All commissioned artworks are final sale but include photo approval before shipping
- Cultural Significance: Each piece carries deep cultural meaning and is treated with respect throughout the process
Damage or Defects
- Timeframe: Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
- Documentation: Provide clear photos of damage and original packaging
- Approval Required: All returns must be pre-approved by our team
- Resolution: We'll arrange replacement, refund, or restoration where possible
💭 Change of Mind Returns
Rare but Considered: While change-of-mind returns are rare due to our made-to-order process, we may offer store credit on a case-by-case basis for:
- Prints and merchandise in original condition
- Items returned within 14 days of delivery
- Unused wearables with tags attached
Note: Return shipping costs are customer's responsibility unless the return is due to our error.

Once artwork is collected by the courier, KT Aboriginal Fine Art is not liable for damage or loss during transit. However, we're committed to helping resolve any issues.

- Optional Insurance: Available on all shipments for peace of mind
- Claims Process: If insurance is purchased and claim approved, we'll issue replacement or refund
- Courier Claims: Damage claims submitted directly to courier service with our full support
Damage Reporting
- Immediate Contact: Report damage within 7 days with photos
- Documentation: Keep all packaging materials for inspection
- Resolution Options: Replacement, refund, or store credit depending on circumstances
🌍 International Framed Artwork Policy
Standard Policy
Framed canvas artworks are not shipped internationally due to high risk of damage during long-distance transit.
Special Circumstances
- Buyer Request: In special cases where framed artworks are shipped overseas at buyer's specific request
- Full Insurance Required: Comprehensive insurance coverage must be purchased
- Risk Acknowledgment: KT Aboriginal Fine Art is not responsible for damage or loss during international transit
- Alternative Options: We recommend unframed shipping with local professional framing
