I'm deeply honoured to share with you Grandmother's Country one of my latest stretched canvas paintings that celebrates the sacred places where my grandmother Millie Lennon-Terrone (Mayawarra) and great great-grandmother Molly Terone-Lennon (Pungkala) were born.
These special sites reveal our bloodline and deep connection to Country, sharing the knowledge of the land, the waterholes, and the Dreamtime stories that continue to guide us today. Through traditional dot painting techniques and colours from country, this artwork honours the wisdom passed down through generations of strong Aboriginal women.

Cultural Story
This painting represents the sacred connection between generations of Aboriginal women and their Country. The traditional dot work depicts the landscapes, waterholes, and spiritual sites that hold our family's ancestral knowledge. Each dot is painted with respect for the stories shared by my grandmother, connecting past, present, and future through art.
Mayawarra and Pungkala are the traditional skin names of my grandmothers, representing their place within our cultural kinship system and their deep connection to specific areas of Country.

Your original painting is packaged with special care and shipped securely from our family studio in South Australia.

All framed artworks are carefully wrapped in bubble wrap, placed in a secure box, and shipped via insured, tracked courier. Delivery usually takes 2–10 business days depending on your location.
Framed artworks can only be shipped within Australia. - International shipping:
For overseas collectors, we remove the canvas from the frame and roll your artwork safely in a sturdy mailing tube. International delivery uses specialist couriers with tracking.
International insurance is optional—please request a quote at checkout. - Packaging:
We use heavy-duty, eco-friendly materials for all shipments. Framed pieces are boxed for Australian deliveries; rolled canvases are securely tubed for international orders. - Processing time:
Originals are prepared for shipment within 2–5 business days. - Tracking:
